Open Port Day 2024 a great success!
On Saturday 5 October, the companies Inter-Sprint, Inter-Tyre, WheelTyre and Bandôtel took part in Port of Moerdijk’s Open Port Day for the second time.
Interested parties could register in advance through Port of Moerdijk. Visitors were welcomed at Ritchie Bross’ central reception location, where a square with stands had been set up. We also had a stand here, which attracted many visitors thanks to an exciting competition.
Using our own bus line, visitors were shown around by staff acting as tour guides. During the trip, passengers were given extensive information about the various companies on Moerdijk. The first stop was at Inter-Sprint on Distriboulevard 27, where a guided tour was provided. The tour then continued to Transitoweg, where visitors were given a demonstration of WheelTyre’s Automatic Fitting Line (AFL). This sophisticated machine can assemble 1,000 wheel-tyre combinations per shift. The tour ended with a visit to Bandôtel’s warehouse.
